Karnataka Prize Money Scholarship 2025, Eligibility & Last Date

With the help of the social welfare Department, The state government of Karnataka started the new program for the SC/ ST Students of the state. The name of this program is Prize Money Scholarship Scheme 2025. There are so many already this kind of schemes has been launched by the government to uplift the living standard of the schedule tribe and schedule castes people of the state. The main motive behind starting this kind of scheme is to promote the students for socially strong and can raise their living standard after getting the higher education. This Prize Money scholarship scheme is providing the benefits with the help of the Social Welfare Department of the Karnataka. Now after the implementation of this scheme, now the scheme is start providing the benefits to all the meritorious students of the Karnataka state who belongs to the Schedule Cast and Schedule Tribe.

Eligible students for the scholarship is that students who passes their post matriculation in first attempt in first class. Eligibility Criteria For Prize Money Scholarship

Only the eligible students can apply for the scheme who are schedule castes and schedule tribe community. All that eligible students of the reserved community who clear their matriculation examination with first class in first attempt. So here below the rest of the eligibility conditions are going to be discussed below.

• Applying candidates must be the permanent citizen of the Karnataka State.
• Students belongs to the schedule category and schedule tribe of the state.
• You passed your previous examination with first class and in your first attempt to get the benefit of the scheme.
• You also getting the studies from the government affiliated and recognized board and universities for your further education.
• All that students who are completing their study with the evening institute are also eligible to get the benefits of the scheme.
• Also the students who are getting their education from Karnataka State open university can submit their form.

Who Are not Eligible?

• If you already completed your study from the open university which are far away from the state of Karnataka, can not apply for the scheme.
• Students who are studying in ITI after PUC can not apply for this scheme.
• If you have any kind of compartment in your previous exam, then you will not eligible for the scheme.
• If you getting study from the abroad, then you are not eligible for the scheme.

Prize Money Scholarship 2025- Documents List

All the students need to prepared the documents in their own name, as list given below.

• Copy of Aadhar Card.
• Photograph.
• Marksheet of PUC and SLCC.
• Bonafide or Domicile Certificate of State.
• Saving Bank account.
• Caste certificate you belongs.
• Family Income proof.
• Disability certificate if any.

Prize & Money Scholarship 2025 Amount Details

As I already told you that the benefits which are given under the scheme are given in shape of money. All the selected beneficiaries will received the such amount as per their range. So here below the amount details is given below.

Karnataka Prize Money Scholarship 2025-26- Steps For Apply

Concerned Department invites application form from the eligible students through the online mode. You can submit your online application form through the Department of Social Welfare Portal. As per the notification, the annual income of the students is also not considered for this scheme. Now all the interested applicant can follow the steps given below.

1^st Step: Now the students who are SC and ST Category can visit to the official portal if you are willing to submit your online form.

Here below you will get the link of Register, which is available in the other option. Now here you click on the link in which you wants to register.

• Students who completed their 10^th class can select the SSLC for apply.
• Apart from above, the students who completed their 2^nd PUC, degree, Diploma and PG Courses will need to click on the link of Post Matric Option.
• Students who are on top 5 Rank in any kind of course will need to go with the link of TOP 5 Rank Option.

2^nd Step: when complete the steps, then students will need to enter the Aadhar Card Number. After entering the such kind of information you will be redirected in the new DBP Portal. After it, you will get the Generate OTP Link, click on it. Then you will get the OTP and then submit it. Application Form for the SC and ST Students are Same.

3^rd Step: Then using official link you can apply online for Prize Money Scholarship which is available on the Social Welfare Department For the Students of Schedule Caste and Schedule Tribe.

4^th Step: Here now start providing the details like SSLC Registered Number, Passing year, caste details, Name and then submit it.

5^th Step: When you enter all the details, then the new window open here. Again enter the Name, Number of Aadhar and then agree by tick on Declaration Box, submit it.

6^th Step: after all, here the Prize Money Scholarship Application Form open in front of you. Now read the form carefully and then enter all the details which is required to be filled like basic details, name of course and institute etc.

7^th Step: Now have to upload all the necessary documents and then accepts the declaration box and submit it.

8^th Step: after the completion of the form, you can download the acknowledgement form in your phone.

9^th Step: Then take it in your college and your principal have to signed on the same and then get the photocopy of all the documents and attested by your college.

10^th Step: Now submit your application form with the documents to the office of District Social Welfare Office for SC Students and in Tribal Welfare Office for ST Students for verification of your eligible.
